Birthday Boy

I confess I didn’t take these photos; they were sent to me by my daughter-in-law this morning, and they simply had to feature on my blip today. 

This is Watson, who was adopted from a cat rescue centre by my middle son exactly ten years ago today. At the time Watson was estimated to be about ten years old, so this is his ‘official’ 20th birthday! Our two youngest granddaughters have worked hard to make these beautiful birthday cards for him and, as well as his birthday hat, they have also given him a helium balloon with Happy 20th Birthday on it!

Furthermore, our superhero youngest granddaughter, H, has awarded him a special ‘smiley’ face, one of the many that I printed and punched out for her to take to school today and hand out to her friends when she was wearing her "Superhero Smiley H" costume.
