Confused

I'm easily confused by gardening matters. This clematis normally flowered in June/July but it just looked rather dead this year so we got the gardener to cut it back drastically in August when we had a biggish tidy up. So now it has decided to flower again, in November.

I'm confused by gardeners too. We thought we had found a reliable one, but we haven't heard from them since the half day revisit we had back in October. Not even an invoice which the previous time they sent on the day after the visit. I must try to remember to email them next week. They are a bit pricey, but we got on with them. I suspect they're just not interested in such a small client.
