Cap badge

This is my Grampa’s cap badge from 1914. He was in the Lanarkshire Yeomanry, a cavalry division. He grew up on a farm and was familiar with and able to work with horses. Like many of this time he didn’t speak of the horrors he saw, but I’m proud to be the custodian of this part of our family history. I’ll share a couple of photos of him and his mates over Remembrance weekend.
