Land's End

A stroll from Porthgwarra took us the this headland, Carn Barra, with the Land's End building visible in the distance along with the Longships lighthouse.
Unsurprisingly the name does not derive from Barra in the Western Isles but allegedly from Cornish bara = 'bread' which seems unlikely. I do wonder if Cornish bar = 'top, summit' is a better bet.
Glorious day.
