Old wheels

Mr W left early this morning to take the car into BMW to get the wheels refurbished. We are (sorry.... I am!) not in the habit of kerbing our alloys but in time they have become scratched and chipped and the badges are missing. Mr W knows the top man at Hailsham so got a good deal. As it's close to Lady Linda he thought it would be a good idea to stay with her with Bella for a few days while he doesn't have a car. 

Of course I wasn't going to protest too much.... 2 days all to myself without the husband or dog!!!!! Hell yeah!!! (Actually, I miss husband but enjoy time without dog!!!) And it all started at 7.30am!!!

But it was a busy day with a studio client needing help glazing and had a new work bench fitted in the studio. 

It took me a good few hours to clear the space then had to wait a few hours for the glue to dry.

The new bench looks and feels amazing and fingers crossed no more splinters up my fingernails but I'm not convinced it's the marine ply I asked for so think this will splinter again. 

I stupidly asked the unreliable gazebo man to do it. The gazebo that is finished but not slanting to the back as planned so rain water is gathering on the roof and dripping off the front and side.... Not the back where's there is gravel and a drain!!!! Add "pulling your hair out" emoji......
