Latest prayer shawl

“Es un dia terrible” was a sentence in my Duolingo Spanish this morning, so perfectly appropriate having woken up to the devastating news of Trump’s victory. The weather also fitted the day, being gloomy and drizzly! The rest of my day I was just in a fog of disbelief and fear for the future of this country. I couldn’t settle to anything until the evening when I finally got some knitting done, which I generally find quite soothing and relaxing. I love the mix of colours in this yarn. I did very little knitting over the summer, and certainly not on prayer shawls, since when it’s really hot, you don’t want to be sitting with a warm shawl on your lap (!), but I’m beginning to get back to it now, and this one will soon be finished, and ready to hopefully bring someone some love and comfort and prayers.
