Kentucky Farms

I headed out of Kentucky today and headed down to Louisville to meet a colleague and set up for the show tomorrow. It was only a few hours drive but through some lovely country. Along the way there were all sorts of different corn fields and lots of tobacco too. Its interesting to see this southern corridor (Kentucky to Virginia) which was so famous for its tobacco production through the years. The industry is not dead but certainly reducing as smoking laws encourage more people to give up. The farmers are switching to different crops and some looking at growing hemp again like they did 100 years ago.
