Grounding Water Flow

On days like this it is hard to accept the reality that I am an American! I take no pride in this fact - even though it’s only on paper!

As Rob Bell says,
“It's the reality we find ourselves in.
And as we all know, if you pick a fight with reality, reality always wins.

This grief then, this revealing, this disclosure of where tens of millions of Americans actually are is shocking and sad and bewildering and infuriating...
and it's also reality.
We don't have to like it.
But we do live in it.”

Yet, despite it all I find myself enjoying the beauty of my surroundings here - in the Water Gardens of Fort Worth.
