Rediscovering the wood

Got up early and pressed on. 2 friends came round just after 1 and the photographer arrived at 1.30.

He was doing the energy review, and taking measurements and then the photos. Elbows couldn’t be here so I asked my friends along to help me move the big boxes out of the photo shots. The kitchen was the worst for that. There’s like 5-6 boxes on the floor, full of stuff that needed to be cleared away but needed to be available again quickly too. And I knew I needed to move all dog beds and paraphernalia but look after them too. So I loved having my friends here. One of them brought a cake too, which definitely helps when you’re under pressure ;-))

The tablecloths came off for the photos. And the wood is just beautiful. I’m going to try doing family life without the waterproof cloth.

The photographer didn’t leave until just before 4. A big job really. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos. He took a lot of time and care.

I think I’m in a bit of shock. I tried to prepare my Bible study for the morning and my brain wouldn’t function properly. It’s been a whirlwind but the house looked great. Let’s pray it sells quickly.
