A day of contrasts

Spent the morning going over my lyrics for the performance in the evening but did manage to take the dogs out in the morning. Decided to drive to the museum of Scotland which given the drizzle which had started as I left seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately the traffic was awful and I was 15 minutes late. Luckily we were just getting lined up for the sound check so I hadn’t missed much.

The performance went well and as it was a charity ball, some of us stayed behind to help count the donations that had been put in envelopes at every place setting. Overall the event raised over £100K which was an amazing amount.
