Over the seas in all degrees

We woke up at four, jumped the shower, grabbed the last few bits of our stuff and headed out to the Uber.

Tooli remained at home -  It's bad enough sobbing in the uber, but sobbing in the airport is just awful, especially when I have to send her away in another taxi.

The poor Uber driver was distraught.  Normally they don't speak  (or speak to their friends / family on their mobile in Arabic or Indian or  Philipeinno ),  This one... Tissue?   Wind?   Where you from.  Bless his wee heart, he was trying so hard to distract me from my tears.

We arrived, and were through security quickly - Tooli had been tracking her on her Uber app and knew  when we were there.

A man dragged his suitcase over my toe and I honestly felt like bursting into tears again.

We checked in, asked for an upgrade, but they told us that the plane was fullly booked.

We sat in the departure gate for an hour, boarded the plane, and we were off....

I watched Deadpool and Wolverine, Twister, and played four games of Suduko and many many games of 2480.

I had chocolate pudding with Jam for Breakfast, along with some ... gelenatinous yoghurt, spirnkled with seeds, and some fruit and a croissant.   Si had beef curry.

I almost passed out again, 1 hour and fifteen minutes before landing... I was waiting for the appearance of the Chicken Sandwhich (Which is a fancy dan Chicken sausage  roll)  but it appeared, and once again the man shouted for "more chicken sandwiches" thankfully I got one.

The plane landed and after eight hours of non movement....we rose, stiff and bursting and exited.

Luckily it wasn't too cold, so we passed through customs / passports and baggage and headed straight out to the car.

Quick drive home and a snuggle up on the couch.

And it was all over again
