Tickle Tree 365

365 days done!!

Can't really believe it. It has been a rollercoaster year.

When I started I was exhausted, mentally and physically. I couldn't hold the hair dryer to dry my hair. I couldn't make decisions. I was so so tired.

So, the doctor suggested I pare life back to the bones. Concentrate on achieving one thing a day.

That night BAcey sent me a message about a thing called Blipfoto as she thought it might interest me.

It did.

And the one thing a day proved to be a Blip!

In 365 days I have taken photos of things I would normally have overlooked - cabbage flowers on the bathroom floor at 11.55pm because the day had been too busy, multiple rescue Blips of dogs, cats and cellos when the weather had been awful. Accidental exposures that turned out OK and encouraged me to try to do it deliberately next time....Homeless cats and other patients have provided the "aaww" factor. Searching for poems and quotations has re-ignited my love of literature...

I can't say my photography has vastly improved but my enjoyment has.

In the meantime I have learned a lot about slowing down, saying no occasionally, speaking up instead of suffering in silence. I have learned who my true friends are and also to keep my wings folded around my wonderful family.

365 days, 365 photos and more than 19,500 views of my journal......

I toyed with the idea of a clever 365 Blip but a) was too busy and b) love the Tickle Tree so much I had to take a detour today to Blip it - the cows had decided they love it too! I'm not sure how many times I have Blipped this tree in the past year but it will certainly feature in more to come....

Thank you to everyone who visits my page and comments. I feel I know a few of you personally!
