Fungus Update

A return to grey and dreary weather - a lot cooler, but no rain as yet.

I walked back out to where I found the fungi a couple of days ago to see how they were faring.

The shaggy inkcap is definitely inky - the cap has started to peel back from the stem and was curling up, dripping a black inky goo!

As for the little orange ones, the one I photographed the other day was no longer there - but there were a couple of new ones on the same log - but a lot more difficult to get a photo of. I guess these ones must be tasty - judging by the pieces nibbled away

I had a little shopping expedition to replenish food/beer supplies - the bus pass got another outing for that!
