They're Back!

Today I filled the bird feeders for the first time since early summer, and voila! the birds have started to come back! Today a few finches...tomorrow? Fingers crossed that the finches spread the word and soon the blue jays and cardinals and chickadees and wrens and maybe even a woodpecker will pay a visit.. 

I have really missed watching the birds so today, with the weather being as warm as it has been of late, I sat out on the deck in the sunshine getting back into the art of tracking birds with my camera rather than my iPhone. It's been a long time since I last did that....

And it sure beat sitting in front of theTV watching the aftermath of the USA election and the dissection of the Democrat election campaign.....
