One At A Time

Panto rehearsal time again (with yet another new backdrop on display) and, for the first time in several months, I can officially announce that I am now only involved in one production. I was approached last week to see if I would be prepared to take on a small role in a play that was happening in December. The chap who contacted me had to drop out due to other commitments and had suggested me to the director. Much as I would have loved to help, it quickly transpired that most of the play rehearsals clashed with those for the Panto. More pertinently, I would not be available for either Tech or Dress rehearsal. Even though I could probably cope with those circumstances, it wouldn’t be fair to everyone else concerned if they didn’t see me until opening night! So, reluctantly, I have pulled out of that project and will concentrate solely on the pantomime until the end of the year.
So I guess that means there’s no excuse for not learning my lines now…
