Hm isn't the right order ABCD?
(German plates have 1-3 Letters for the location (DA for Darmstadt)and than 2 letters and 4 numbers to personalise it)


There was a giant traffic jam when we returned form work close to my home. They lay new glass fibre and one way of the road is closed. 
I sent this picture on WhatsApp to my waiting mum to inform her about the delay.
