Well, I awoke to the very disappointing outcome of the American election. A disbelief in how anyone would even consider voting for this man remains - it doesn't seem to matter what he says or does. And what kind of message does that give to our young people? I'm afraid as to what this means for so much - women's rights, Ukraine, the Middle East, tackling climate change, democracy. I have to keep reminding myself there are good people out there willing to stand up and we have been here before, and got through it - and that was in the midst of a global pandemic.
