End of the Heatwave

In this part of Somerset it has still been hot and sunny this week, and we have had no rain as yet! But early this evening a few clouds appeared, and the breeze dropped.
The garden became very still, waiting, hoping?
The birds stopped singing - and we almost held our breath!
Will the rain come, to provide relief after this long, hot, dry spell ?
