Lily

This is some variety of a daylily - I think.

We were going over to The Ranch for Brunch and I had anticipated taking photos of birds in the cactus. Unfortunately we couldn't eat outside because the building was being spray painted. Since overspray can travel several hundred yards, outdoor pictures were ill advised.

This flower was picked, taken inside, placed in a black coffee cup with a black napkin for background and used for an exercise in mirror lockup. This shot was f/25 with a 200 mm lens at about 8 ft. Photoshop helped remove background reflections.
