Great Harbour Greenock
This massive 19thC dock is north of the two James Watt docks blippped on the 5th. It was built 2× width and 2× length as J.W. and to compete with the Glasgow docks. Today it is only home to several Serco Denholm tugs used by the Royal Navy Clyde submarine base and Svitzer (Maersk) tugs which have duties helping berth large container and cruise ships at their terminals. This brightly painted offshore tug and supply ship is owned by Briggs for charter duties. MV Glen Sannox is berthed at the east of the dock.
