A million things to do and it all takes time
Up in a panic and there are a million things to do. The day started badly, as we were out of milk. Mrs. Ottawacker: “I’m not buying any more milk; we’ll be gone before you know it.” So, I had black coffee, adding in some honey to pretend I like it.
Then, out I went. Staples to print our “Trip Tiks” from CAA, which are a series of directions to our destinations in Portugal. And then on to the delights of Bayshore, where I had to buy a pair of jeans. Half way there, there were flashing lights and beeping sounds from the car; it transpired we were out of gas. One panicked refill later, and I was back on the road again. Jeans bought. The I had to run to Best Buy to return the scanner, and on to the post office to send a couple of cards.
Somehow, the morning had disappeared. Did a little paper work, and then realised that Liverpool were playing Leverkusen in the Champions League. One glorious afternoon later, we’d won 4-0 and I decided it was time for a takeout meal to celebrate Mrs. Ottawacker and Ottawacker Jr. both being on their holidays. We opted for Beijing Legend… Early results indicate we might have to celebrate while we can.
