Home just before dark where we re-ignited the bonfire and retired to the van without lighting any blue touch-papers.
Moules were first course followed up by a pan full of stir fry vegetables, and of course some apple and rhubarb crumble.
Reading while listening to Classical music soon had me snoozing until woken by a phone call at 10:45. A good friend in need of some neutral conversation and a good laugh. She was grateful for a few hours of simple and honest chat until 2:10 am!
