Cake -

Take 3.
H wanted to make  Immys birthday cake even although she's up to her ears in tuition and placement planning so we tried this rainbow cake on Sunday. A rubbish recipe and the cakes were too flat. H came back down yesterday in her planning time and remade them from a Mary Berry recipe in between planning a sequence of number lessons in side 12 [ for the teachers amongst you). 
I was the measuring out , washing pans etc person whilst also overlooking her plan and giving help where requested. Looks much more successful this time. Cakes are in the freezer till Friday when I'll take them out for icing on Saturday :)
