Beaten up

She was pulling a laundry cart across the parking lot with some clothes for the thrift store. I asked her why her hand was bandaged. She said she had been at a party and some guys had beat her up. She took off her sunglasses to reveal a black eye, a cut in her eyebrow and another in her throat.. Nevertheless she was in an amazingly good mood.

As you noticed in the Flickr set, today I also encountered another "sad girl", a woman remembering her mom, and a couple of older guys who liked their jewelry.

BTW, violence against women is always wrong!
