There was a lovely light here earlier; summer evening sunshine after rain.

A polarizing filter would have helped here, I did, in fact order a polarizing filter, which arrived today. The wrong size of polarizing filter. This is entirely due to my own stupidity, so there's nothing to do but return it and try again, and put up with the halos a little longer.
