Floating Bonfire
Back on the bike this morning after a couple of weeks off as the logistics just didn't work out. There's a big bonfire event happening at Strathclyde park this evening and already at 7am there was lots of activity, lots of red and white 'orienteering' tape and a number of stewards out and about. In good news, they'd removed the part-fences that go across the bridge and all the 'cyclists must dismount' signs so I sneakily rode over, encountering not a single soul of the bridge as is normaly for 85% of the time.
The morning was a bit cloudy and murky and almost de-saturated, but I like how the bonfire and firework platform were floating out in the loch infront of the last of the autumnal trees. Shame I didn't have the big camera.
Knocked 15 minutes off my cycle home as I couldn't get through the park, quicker but a lot less enjoyable. Also found a 4 pack of pastel de nata in Tesco for 61p. That's 15.25p pert tart. Winning.
