Whiz-Bang

When I parked to go to the Men's Shed this morning half of the car park was cordoned off. The fairground rides where being pulled out of storage, food stalls were setting up and a stage was being erected. 

It's bonfire/firework night!

I don't normally go to see it, I can hear it from my house and spot the tops of the fireworks as well but tonight I went down. Half the town joined me.

I only took my phone and experimented with long exposure, AvgCamPro and NightCap but trying all this handheld wasn't going to get great results. Anyway I picked this long exposure and from that I extracted an overlay to add a bit of definition. 

The bonfire, rides, disco and food outlets will no doubt go on for a while longer. I headed home to the relative quiet of home.
