Water Tower

If you travel up the M40, just after you pass the Bicester / A34 junction there is a water tower, standing proud at the side of the motorway and looking a little out of place (though the incinerator that sits not far from it is a lot more incongruous).

It sits on a bridle path beside the motorway and leads to a closed fishery called trow pool. Apart from the road noise, a nice little secluded sanctuary.
