While I'm alone and blue as can be

It was with heavy hearts we said good bye to Banana Island this morning, but not before we had TWO swims.  One before breakfast and one after. 

Then it was time to pack up and head back to the mainland. 

 The trip back was uneventful and no one was sick this time.  We grabbed an uber on arrival and headed back to Tooli's.   We got in and Tooli booked Dinner at Fabios.   

This restaurant gave Tooli great excitment.  It's a stand-alone restaurant in the Pearl, and not inside a hotel, where most of the alcoholic places are - best of all, we could sit outside in the "relative" cool - by Relative - 28 / 30 in the evening.    We arrived and it was still light, and through the course of the meal the sky darkened as the sun set, and we were treated to a fabulous sunset, and then all the twinkling lights of the Pearl were lit up 

The food was delicious and the drinks were strong and flowing fast. 

remind me not to indulge in Long Island Ice Tea again. 

tooli surprised me with her choice from the menu....  "Sauage and Chip Pizza"

Yes, Doha has as much class as Scottish Fish and Chip Shop
