TINY TUESDAY - WITH A BONUS!

First of all, apologies for not responding to any comments from yesterday - after doing over 8,600 steps, which included walking over to post my letter and then seeing my sister, I was so tired and ended up sleeping in the chair and then I was in bed by 9.30 p.m.  I slept until 9.11 a.m. - funny how we often remember times, and of course, this one is a significant one to remember - so didn’t have my shower and breakfast until quite late.

However, I do appreciate all your comments and will hopefully get around to looking at your journals later.  I am visiting a friend in hospital this afternoon, so it may be much later and as we don't live that far from the hospital, I may even walk!

I went out into the garden after I had had my shower, still in my pink robe, looking for something for Tiny Tuesday and was delighted to find this little Marmalade Hoverfly on a borage flower, so thought it would enjoy having its 15 minutes of fame on Blip.  I am also still “on theme” as today is no theme - two days in a row can’t be bad, but that could change!

Mr. HCB is now out and about in the garden - can’t keep him in - moving pots and plants into the greenhouse - because surely we will have a frost soon!  He definitely does not need a gym membership, as our “green gym” as HarlingDarling calls it, and from whom I have borrowed this expression, keeps him fit and healthy and happy too.

Unfortunately, my washing machine is playing up and not doing the final spin, so I am having to keep my eye on that as I have washed sheets, pillowcases and towels - such a pain, but if that is all the angst I have in my life today, then I am blessed!
