Shiny

Hypnotically high spring tide down the river this evening.

Where the River Devon flows into the River Forth there was some massive mercurial ripples catching the clouds. Stood for ages watching them crawl up into the Devon, slow down to a near stop, then start to slowly swirl back into the Forth. It looks like I'm down at near water level here but was a good seven or eight feet above in this shot.

A much more productive day working over in the Mary Celeste today, but still difficult to get motivated into doing much when there's very few people around the place. Cycled in and sat around all day in shorts and T-shirt, listening to 6Music through speakers instead of headphones (which are more the norm in our big open plan workrooms). Pleasantly different.

Another for the Around the Forth collection
