The New and the Old

Annie and I were talking about the highwalks (or pedways to give them their official name) at the weekend. The highest concentration of these in London is around the Barbican and close to my London office. It came up in conversation due to the fairly recent additions when areas of London Wall were redeveloped in the last few years. So, as I was in London today and very close by I grabbed a photo whilst the sun was out at lunchtime. The pedway is the rusty looking elevated walk way towering over remnants of London Wall.
