Coniston Power Boat Records Week

It is November, and on Coniston Water in the Lake District there is a competition to see who can go the fastest in a range of categories. 

I was there three years ago and it was very exciting. I blipped on the 6th November 2021 and always intended to go back. We had booked this week but had to cancel due to my wife's accident.

There will always be another time and I appreciate she wouldn't really be fit to go water skiing with a broken hip....

The blip is a gift from a friend who bought an expensive watch which came in a stunning presentation case with a boat (??)

She did not want the case or the boat and asked if I would like it...

I said "Oh go on then.."

It is a lovely thing and serves no purpose whatsoever except as a possible talking point..

It does remind me of the time I confessed to my wife that I fancied Beyonce....

She said "whatever floats your boat..."

I quickly replied. "No, that would be buoyancy..."

Oh if looks could kill....
