Monday: The Sunken Garden
Another mild, calm day with temperature around 12°C, overcast but no wind.
After breakfast I continued pruning the Bay tree and then pulled more of the sedge from “the sunken garden” - slowly getting all the tough grass up so that I can see the roses, globe artichokes, hemerocallis (DayLilies) and other flowers in this neglected garden. Will let everything grow and prune when Spring arrives :-)
When I’d finished gardening for today, I came indoors and watched the blackbirds and Robins scratching in the soil where I’d been digging.
Continued watching Series 1 of The Lincoln Lawyer, think we’re up to episode 7, there are lots of twists and turns to the storyline but MrD and I are hooked …!
