Robinson Preserve
After visiting my mom, Steve and I went for a lovely walk at Robinson Nature Preserve, which spans 682 acres on a peninsula where the Manatee River and Upper Sarasota Bay meet Tampa Bay.
A quote from the website linked above ..."The Preserve has a rim of largely natural habitats. Mangrove forests, salt flats, salt marshes, and tropical coastal hammocks define its wild spaces."
It is a wonderful place to walk. Some of the coastal trails are closed due to hurricane damage, but Steve & I managed to cover 2 miles and really enjoyed. I love the series of bridges and the view I photographed. I find it so refreshing to get outside and take in these beautiful sights, while spending time laughing & chatting with my husband.
Thanks for visiting!
