We seem to be in the middle of a run of really gloomy weather. So I decided to get some fresh air around midday, and headed to the Engine Rooms at the Science Park for lunch. A really good salad fitted the bill. The place was busy.
I put my camera in my bag in the hope of seeing the local heron, but no such luck. But a group of black headed gulls had settled on and around the pond. Fortunately I see birds every day, and I usually see gulls - even if they are often distant. The term “seagull” is a real misnomer.
