Llandudno and Manchester

We woke early and were the first to breakfast again.  Afterwards, we packed and headed to West beach which we've never visited before.  It was quiet and the sky was grey which complimented the Welsh mountains in the distance. 
After a short walk, we jumped in the car and headed to Manchester for lunch with Matt. We walked around the shops and had some sandwiches while he did his sound check and then went to his first headline gig. Finding the carpark was a bit fraught and we think we ended up on a buses only road so will probably be fined. Driving around a city in the dark is tricky so I hope they'll be lenient! 
Eventually, we made it to the gig just as the support bands were finishing off.  Matt's band played brilliantly again and really got the crowd engaged. 
Finally, exhausted, we jumped back in the car and headed home, arriving at about 12.30, shattered and ready for bed.
