Nothing to do with Jerusalem

Spotted these Jerusalem artichokes.  They have nothing to do with Jerusalem but are related to sunflowers.  The Italian word for sunflower is girasole which somehow in the English speaking world evolved into Jerusalem.  They are not artichokes either.
