Sunset

After not getting a drop of rain in October, we got some today. ‘Some’ would be an understatement. It started raining early but at sunset the western sky broke and color filled the sky. That didn’t last very long before more dark clouds rolled in, raining hard for several more hours. It's nice to finally get  wet stuff in the desert after such a dry spell, which began in September.

I ordered a pizza to eat during the football games, the first since the long hospitalization. It didn’t taste as good as I expected it to be. Could my tastes have changed?  

Albuquerque brother ordered our Thanksgiving dinner. Because we will have limited time together, I thought it would be better to eat at home rather than at a restaurant. It will mean we'll have more quality time with each other.
