Holidays! Day 1

After all the angst, the airport was a BREEZE! They just wanted to ask about what level of assistance I needed. And did I need it at Edinburgh Airport. Well, technically, no - it’s not that far to walk, but they mentioned that I also get an automatic ‘Fast Track’ through security, so I (we) might as well use it.

I must say, the assistance service is wonderful in all airports. The ‘assistants’ are so helpful, and really look after their charges. At Doha airport, we just had time for a sushi selection each, when they came to collect us for the next leg. These airports are SO large! It takes half an hour to bus in from the plane. And then we had another long bus journey to get on the next plane!

Had a really good meal and a snooze on the first leg, and a not so nice meal, but a good long sleep on the second leg. And yes, I did watch ‘The Matrix’… well, until I couldn’t cope any more…
