Ancient Yew

In Pitmedden Garden.

Better if I'd had a tripod and could move the ISO down a lot, and the slow speed wouldn't matter. Today was wholly overcast, and the photo was taken from deep beneath the lower branches, to get the aged-marked trunk, so the focus is not too sharp at all.

'I'll do better next time', as I used to say to my schoolmasters, a long time ago. Without much effect! But certainly I must go back to this tree. And just nearby there's chestnut planted in 1675!
