And home!

Leisurely start, drove to Oslo airport in glorious sunshine, through farmland and the last of autumn leaves and on the plane by 1pm.  Two hours later we were in balmy England, saying goodbye to Marty and Anu who were flying on to New York and got the car back home

Quick whiz round the garden and noted there couldn’t have been a frost whilst we were away as dahlias and nasturtiums were still flowering and the trees had more leaves than they did in Norway. 

And so warm at home, 15 degrees rather than the zero in Oslo this morning. 

V picked up the dog from kennels and he was delighted to be home.  

Watched two eps of Rivals and read more of my book , The Plot.  Btw I did finish the Erotic Vagrancy, all 700 pages of a deep dive into the lives of Burton and Taylor which I didn’t know I needed.  A big reading friend recommended it to me but I didn’t expect it to be so long!
