Seeds

I'd never been to the OVO Hydro before but we were through there tonight for Nick Cave. Although we've seen him a fair few times over the years (starting with a hometown gig in Melbourne in 1997) the last time was an Usher Hall appearance almost eleven years ago to the day. If anything I reckon he's got more energetic as he's got older, he was on fantastic form and The Bad Seeds were as magnificent as ever. Pic was taken before the support band came on which accounts for the sparseness of crowd, but talking of the support band, I was rather taken with Black Country, New Road - quite an unusual blend of genres that really was quite hard to categorise.

Before the gig we'd met up with our girls and taken them for food on Byres Road before we all went our respective ways for the evening.
