Reflection

It was a quieter day. After ringing and the service, a few of us went out for lunch at a local restaurant. The meal was ok but nothing special. I had a carpaccio of beef as a starter followed by tagliatelle forestière. Mrs TT had a salmon tagliatelle and we swapped half way. She was disappointed with her glace à l'eau thinking it would be some some of interesting chef take on an ice lolly but it was just an ice lolly from the freezer still in its wrapper plonked on her plate! I came back and caught up with the sport and refused an invitation to play tennis tomorrow preferring to rest my sore elbow and shoulder.
