The jewel in the crown

The mangosteen (also known as 'The Queen of Fruits) is such an extraordinary thing. It tastes a bit like a lychee.

The design is quite beautiful. Notice the six inside segments echo the flower shape on its bottom.

I've been batch cooking (for a healthier lifestyle... ha!) so bought these as a healthy treat.
