Help for Valencia

The Social Centre in Albir was this morning, a Collecting Point for Donations of food stuffs, personal hygiene items etc.
that will be  sent to Valencia, following the devastating floods of last Tuesday.
Volunteers met us in the car park, each with a shopping trolley from the next door Supermarket; they took the contributions from the car boots, and wheeled them away into the Social centre.

The volunteers were local people, from the Amas de Casa, the Red Cross etc. Some of the Policia Local were there too,  to help with the operation, rather than in a law enforcing mode!
