Pink Thistle

A day of chores before heading back to work tonight. I've had that last day of holiday feeling all day and dreading going to work tonight. However, if it wasn't for work, the time off wouldn't be so special or affordable so I shouldn't grumble.

I came across this unusual looking thistle on a walk by the river this afternoon. Perhaps someone has seem something like it before? I haven't yet filled all the holes in my journal or replied to all your lovely recent comments. Hopefully I'll get caught up over the next week.
