His day out
Oh so excited - and proud, rightly so.
We made it to Portsmouth for our trop to the D-Day story, tickets won by the eldest back in June. He knew all about the landing craft that had been restored, now having pride of place outside the museum. We spent several hours at the museum, the children's activity was very good, and I really enjoyed the 83 metre embroidery that was created by the Royal School of Embroidery.
We had a lovely walk along the beach, before heading off to stay with friends for the evening, which has been really nice.
