Gin-a-holics

We walked to the local station this morning, only to discover the train was cancelled. We got a lift from a friend to the station where we would have changed lines. 

Once in Liverpool we took physivic to meet Paddington, had a wander round a few shops and a light lunch. Then it was time for the main event - Gin making at the Liverpool Gin distillery. We had a fab time and it was such an interesting process. We thought we were just having one G&T welcome drink but there were four as part of the 2.5hr session! We also got to sample our own. Amazingly we did make it back on the train and were collected by another friend. 

We named our gins "Divine Remedy" and "Java Spirit" a play on our professions and our names.

We didn't have long at home before it was time to walk into the village for the fireworks. See extras
