One in, one out

New car in yesterday
John Deere mower out today.
Really sad, I was so excited about getting this mower. Its a proper mower, its a John Deere. 
What it actually was was too heavy and too cumbersome. It would have been great going up and down a paddock or small field with no obstacles. The lawn in our garden is not square, it 's borders bend and twist and there are trees growing in it. Maneuvering around  all these was very difficult and, because of the length of the combined unit, quite a lot of damage was done to the wooden edging strips.
It cut really well but was not practical and had to go.
I am now back to using the 25 year old Mountfield, it does a good job and is so much easier to use.
As to a John Deere, the moral is "be careful what you wish for"
